1. Purpose and scope
These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern distance sales of standard wax fabrics by MR WAX to consumers worldwide. They apply to every order placed on mrwaxshop.com in the version expressly accepted at checkout.
2. Seller identity

3. Products and presentation
MR WAX sells standard units of wax fabric, notably in 4-yard and 6-yard formats. Each product page states the format, VAT-inclusive price, availability and essential characteristics.
Some scenes may be generated or digitally retouched. The pattern of the fabric sold corresponds to the real product; the outfit, cut and setting are illustrative. MR WAX is an independent reseller of authentic Vlisco fabrics registered with Vlisco. Vlisco and its trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
4. Availability and first confirmed payment
Displayed stock reflects the physical stock tracked by MR WAX. During online payment, the final unit may be technically reserved for no more than ten minutes. The reservation is automatically released after failure, cancellation or expiry.
A bank transfer does not reserve stock. Priority is given to the first payment actually received and confirmed. If the item has been sold before the transfer reaches MR WAX, the customer is contacted and may choose a refund, an available replacement or another agreed solution. A direct WhatsApp link facilitates the discussion.
5. Prices, VAT and currencies
Contract prices are expressed and invoiced in euros, including VAT. VAT is already included and is not added again at checkout. Amounts displayed in CFA francs or US dollars are indicative conversions; the order, invoice, payment and refund remain denominated in euros. Delivery fees and discounts are shown separately before ordering.
6. Order process
Before ordering, the customer can review and correct the basket, address, fulfilment method, delivery costs, promotions and VAT-inclusive total. The final button clearly states that the order entails an obligation to pay. The customer accepts these terms through an unticked checkbox. MR WAX records the accepted version, date and time and sends durable confirmation by email.
7. Payment and conclusion of the sale
Only payment methods enabled and correctly configured in the back office are displayed. They may include Stripe for bank cards, PayPal, Wave, Orange Money, MTN MoMo, Wero and bank transfer. The order is confirmed after robust confirmation by the payment provider or, for a bank transfer, after actual receipt of funds and a fresh stock check.
MR WAX never receives or stores the full card number or security code. PayPal Pay in 4 may be displayed when PayPal offers it to an eligible customer. Eligibility and financing conditions are decided by PayPal and cannot be guaranteed by MR WAX.
8. Preparation and DHL delivery
An order paid before 12 noon Paris time is prepared and handed to DHL the same afternoon. An order paid after 12 noon is prepared the same day and handed to DHL by 6 pm where collection or drop-off hours allow. Orders placed after the last collection, on weekends or public holidays are handed over on the next business day.
Checkout displays the services, rates and estimated transit times returned by the DHL API for the destination and parcel. The overall time includes MR WAX preparation and DHL transport. An estimate is not a guaranteed delivery date.
9. International sales, duties and taxes
MR WAX charges the DHL transport price displayed at checkout. For delivery outside the European Union, import duties, taxes, customs clearance charges and local levies are payable by the recipient unless expressly stated otherwise before payment. DHL may request payment before delivery.
10. Pickup by appointment
The customer may choose free pickup at 114 boulevard de l’Hôpital, 75013 Paris, France, by appointment with Rosalie Mockey only. A WhatsApp conversation is offered to agree a date and time. A paid order remains available. MR WAX sends weekly reminders for the first eight weeks and then seeks an individual solution, such as a later appointment or DHL delivery at the customer’s expense.
11. Transfer of risk
Where the carrier is offered by MR WAX, the risk of loss or damage passes when the customer, or a third party appointed by the customer, physically receives the goods. MR WAX remains the customer’s point of contact for transport incidents.
12. Right of withdrawal
For standard 4-yard and 6-yard units, the customer has fourteen days from receipt to notify MR WAX of the decision to withdraw without giving a reason. The online form or any unambiguous statement may be used. The goods must then be returned within fourteen days after notification.
MR WAX currently offers no made-to-measure or customer-specific cutting. If custom goods are introduced later, any statutory exclusion will be clearly stated before ordering and will apply only to goods genuinely made to the customer’s specifications.
13. Returns and condition of goods
Before returning goods, the customer completes the online withdrawal form or contacts rosalie.mockey@mrwaxshop.com. The goods must be sent to 114 boulevard de l’Hôpital, 75013 Paris, France and must be unwashed, unsewn, uncut, unused, undamaged and suitably protected. For a simple change of mind, the customer bears the cost and risk of return.
MR WAX may offer a direct exchange with the customer’s agreement. Such a commercial solution never removes a statutory right to a refund.
14. Refunds
For a valid withdrawal, MR WAX refunds the amounts due, including the initial standard delivery cost when the entire order is withdrawn. Any extra cost for an express option is not refunded beyond the standard delivery cost. The refund is made no later than fourteen days after notification, but may be withheld until the goods are recovered or proof of dispatch is supplied. The original payment method is used unless the customer expressly agrees to another free method.
15. Statutory guarantees
Goods benefit from the French statutory guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects. These rights apply independently of the withdrawal right and cannot be restricted by these terms. No additional commercial guarantee is offered unless expressly stated on a product page or separate document.
16. Lost, damaged or allegedly delivered parcel
The customer should report any issue as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours, by WhatsApp or email. This practical period does not remove statutory rights. MR WAX checks tracking information and opens a claim with DHL where necessary. DHL insurance does not require the customer to handle a transport claim alone.

18. Personal data
Data required for ordering, payment, delivery, pickup, customer accounts and after-sales service is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Marketing consent is separate from acceptance of these terms.
19. Intellectual property
The website structure, MR WAX logo, texts, articles, photographs, graphic creations and original content are protected. Unauthorised reproduction is prohibited. Third-party trademarks, including Vlisco, remain the property of their respective owners.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law without depriving a customer residing in another country of any more protective mandatory rights applicable there. If no amicable or mediated solution is reached, the competent courts are determined by the consumer protection rules that apply.
